Ann van de Graaf will share her memories of the role she and other local artists played in the Civil Rights Movement in Lynchburg in the 1960’s and 1970’s. Hear some of the untold stories of how the arts advocated for social justice in Central Virginia. Many of van de Graaf’s Civil Rights-Era artworks will be on display especially for the program.
