The Lynchburg Museum is partnering with the Lynchburg Community Market in a World War I themed food program on Saturday, November 11th. Three local chefs are preparing a dish using ingredients common on the home front during World War I (1917-1918) to share. They will be available to discuss their dishes with visitors. Any type of dish made with ingredients available during World War I is fair game! In addition to sampling food prepared by the chefs, visitors can see a canning demonstration from the VA Cooperative Extension.
The program will be held in the parking lot at the Community Market on November 11, 2017 from 10am to 1pm. Free admission! Stop by and see us!
